Gibson Guitars

Gibson is a renowned guitar manufacturer that most people have heard of. In the 1930s they featured inexpensive guitars under brand names such as Cromwell and Kalamazoo, as well as selling guitars to outside retailers such as Montgomery Ward. In the 1940s and 1950s National hollowbody electrics had bodies supplied by Gibson and some made entirely by Gibson. Although the Kalamazoo brand name was revived in the 1960s, most of their affordable line was given over to the Epiphone.
